SESSION 2: EMOTIONAL AWARENESS
STEP 8: Evaluation and Closing
STEP 8: Evaluation and Closing
Note to the trainer: To make the training lasting, close the session by asking participants to say what they are taking away from today’s training - the most important thing they have learnt.
Method: Oral feedback and closing circle.
Implementation steps:
1. “What Did We Put in Our Pockets?” circle: All participants stand side by side in a circle. The trainer asks each person in turn: “As we finish today’s module, what is the most important piece of information or tool that will remain in your mind when you approach a child during tomorrow’s shift? Please share with us that one sentence you are putting in your pocket.” 2. Closing: After feedback has been received from all participants, the trainer announces that the next module will cover how to manage these emotions and remain calm during a crisis (Crisis Management), and then ends the session.
