How to Use the Platform

The Empowered by Empathy platform provides public access to project information, online learning Books, publication PDFs and training-support materials.

Public courses use automatic Guest access. You can therefore open the available learning resources without creating an account.

 

1. Select your language

Use the language selector in the header to choose English, Turkish, Polish or Portuguese. The platform interface and multilingual content will change to the selected language.

 

2. Choose an area

Use the main menu to open About, Project Outputs, Learning, Partners, Resources or this guidance page. On smaller screens, the menu may appear behind the mobile menu button.

 

3. Open a learning resource

Open a learning pathway, use the online Book for structured reading, or select the PDF version for viewing, downloading or printing.

The course landing page introduces the guide. The Moodle Book is the complete online version. The publication PDF can be viewed or downloaded.

The course landing page introduces the trainer pathway. The Handbook remains the complete online working reference. Publication and support PDFs are available in the course.

Using the online Books

  • Use the table of contents to open a chapter.
  • Use the previous/next controls to read sequentially.
  • Return to the course landing page whenever you need the publication PDF.

Viewing and downloading PDFs

  • View PDF opens the document in the browser or preview panel.
  • Download PDF saves a copy to the device.
  • If the preview is blank, open the PDF in a new tab or use Download PDF.

Mobile Use and Troubleshooting

  • On a phone or tablet, rotate the device if a PDF or table is easier to read in landscape orientation.
  • Use browser zoom or the PDF viewer controls to enlarge text.
  • If a course unexpectedly shows a login page, return to the Home page, refresh the browser and open the course again. Public courses should enter automatically as Guest.
  • If the wrong language is displayed, select the language again from the header and reload the page.
  • Blocking all cookies may prevent session or Guest-access functions from working correctly.
