About the Project
Empowered by Empathy is an Erasmus+ adult education project focused on strengthening emotionally responsive care for disadvantaged children. It supports caregivers in developing emotional intelligence, empathy, self-regulation, communication and relationship skills that contribute to children’s healthy emotional and social development.
The project combines needs analysis, caregiver training, trainer resources and an open Digital Education Platform designed to make the resulting educational materials accessible and reusable.

- Identify caregivers’ needs and challenges.
- Improve the competences of caregivers, educators and trainers.
- Promote inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches to care.
- Provide openly accessible educational resources.
- Support wider use of the programme through digital dissemination and training.
The primary target group is adults who provide care for disadvantaged children, particularly caregivers working with children in institutional care.
The project also addresses parents, educators, trainers, social-service professionals, NGOs, public education centres and other organisations working with disadvantaged children and families. The educational resources and Digital Education Platform are intended to remain openly accessible to a wider public.
